Passive Information Collection
Ad Lounge uses persistent “cookies” to help personalize and maximize your online experience and time online. The cookie indicates that a user has previously visited the Ad Lounge site, tracks user content/navigation trends, provides customized user messages and prevents users from registering more than once. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a web page server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. These cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Ad Lounge uses log files on JavaScriptTM to collect domain information, referral information, browser information, pages visited, content viewed, files downloaded, and time spent per page. This information is then forwarded to our outside vendor for analysis.

Ad Lounge uses your IP address to help track where you came from, what services you are using, to help us administer our web site, and to improve our services.
Third Party Links
The Ad Lounge website contains links to other sites. Although we strive to provide links to sites that have similar privacy policies and practices that respect user privacy, we are not responsible for the practices or the content of these sites.
Third Party Information
No third party organizations will have access to your information. Third parties are defined here as entities not related to Ad Lounge, Ad Lounge-owned subsidiaries and affiliates.
Your information (name, address, home phone number, work phone number, cellular phone number, facsimile numbers, email addresses, resume, and general contact information) may be released with your consent only, to third parties (in Canada, or other parts of the world). By becoming a member at Ad Lounge, you agree that your information may be shared with third parties upon your consent.
We do not disclose your information to anyone except as described above, including personal information, resume information, email addresses, information about your visits to the site, etc.
Ad Lounge’s Use of Information
We collect and may disclose statistical information gathered as a whole for marketing purposes and to improve the services to our members. However, we never disclosure information on an individual basis for such purposes. We may also use, disclose and communicate your personal information if required to do so by law including by an order of any court.
The information gathered on the Ad Lounge site is used to deliver the services we offer. We may use the information you provide to send you updates on Ad Lounge (such as industry news, events which may be of interest to you, or new Boost Agents opportunities).
Ad Lounge uses your information internally, with other Ad Lounge-owned subsidiaries and affiliates, but does not disclose your personal information to third parties, except as set forth in the following two subparagraphs:
1) We may disclose such information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Ad Lounge or its affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.
2) We may disclose and transfer such information to a third party who acquires all or a substantial portion of Ad Lounge’s business, whether such acquisition is by way of merger, consolidation or purchase of all or a substantial portion of our assets.
Should you decide that you would no longer like to be contacted by Ad Lounge, please notify Ad Lounge and our best efforts will be used to remove you from our contact list. If you do not wish to receive future emails from Ad Lounge, please go to the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the Ad Lounge email. As a result, you should not receive similar email solicitations from Ad Lounge in the future.
Access to Your Personal Information
Your personal information is stored on a secure server hosted by Ad Lounge. The server resides in Ad Lounge’s data centre that resides in the province of Ontario, Canada.

Children
Ad Lounge is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If Ad Lounge decides to change its Privacy Statement, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it.
