THE EVENT - MARKETERS TURNED AUTHORS (Nov 4/ 7pm. Arta Gallery)

Our featured guests (Terry O'Reilly and Mitch Joel) have spent the past couple of years writing and researching content for their newly published books, however Ad Lounge invites them to think beyond what's already been published. Hosted by CBC "Spark's" Nora Young, the authors will speak from the heart and the hip on what they wish they had published in their books but didn't. It's a chance to get intimate with these industry leaders, to hear them share their observations around where our industry is going, and to share your observations with them.

The Topic?
The 3 Things I wish I Included In My Book... But Didn't.

Terry's approach: In the writing process, one discovers new knowledge. Terry will share some very important lessons and discoveries around the various disconnects that commonly occur between both advertiser and consumer.

Mitch's approach: The publishing process is a lengthy one, and our industry has experienced many changes in that time. Mitch will discuss the things that have changed in the marketing world within that time -- and items that he wished he knew then as he wrote his book.
